OPAI's class schedule offers SEVEN levels of ballet plus two levels of Pointe. We have two large studios with mirrors and barres. Each has the amazing O'mara Sprung Floor!

CURRICULUM/DRESS CODE
Ballet - technique classes are offered at a variety of levels to best accommodate the growth skills of the dancer. Each student is placed in the class or classes most appropriate for his/her level. Pointe - must be enrolled in Ballet VI or VII and Placement; students are introduced to pointe only after several years of serious, quality training and only when young feet, legs and abdominal muscles are strong, and mature. Placement - an intensive, advanced level ballet class that focuses on achieving proper body alignment and correct technique through barre work and centre practice. - Jazz - incorporates moves from the latest in popular jazz in all it's current forms from Tap - international tap styles taught from Broadway to jazz tap, with an emphasis on combinations, wings, pick-ups, turns, and rhythm. Acting - Stresses improvisation, imagination awareness; Scene studies, monologues, character development for stage, film and television.
Pre-Ballet - designed to help young children develop a greater sense of body awareness, rhythm, flexibility, and coordination through a multi-approach that stimulates imagination and develops expression
classical jazz to street funk.
